Hello everyone. I have a 2082 Super Garden tractor with a little over 750 hours. I repowerred it with a new Kohler Command 25 hp. V-Twin I bought through CaseIH parts about 4 years ago. The engine has about 100 hours on it and has only blown snow the last 2 years. The new engine sits at the same height as the old one so the drive shaft and front pto are in the same location as with the old engine. I replaced the drive shaft 5 years ago. It has front and back hydraulic outlets that I added after I got it. The "chinsy" plastic hydraulic levers were replaced with nice chrome levers that it should have had from new. I have lugged tires all the way around. It also has a Sims "hard" cab I bought new. It comes with a 45" two stage snowblower and a 60" mower deck. I totally rebuilt the under carriage for the mower replacing the pivot pins with greaseable shoulder bolts. I also made a split block or "clamp block" that goes around the rock shaft for the pivot arm to slide on. All the guage wheels on the mower are greaseable. I used to be a tool and die machinist so these modifications are not a coble job. The snow blower works great! Quite an improvement over my 782 and the QA-42. I keep the 2082 in a heated garage so it is relatively warm when I start it.
I recently purchased a bigger snow blown' machine with a heated cab. Other wise I wouldn't be selling this. Any interest or information would be greatly appreciated. We are farmers and farm with good old International tractors. My dad has a 1000 he bought new in 1976 and I have a 782 as well. I will provide pictures at request. Thank you.
