That's what I'll go with. V61s showed up on the porch today, they look really neat. Glad I went with what I really wanted.

I got the 108 done today, for now. It was a nice and easy swap, everything works nice, steers easy, turns tight enough, I particularly like the design on the Cyclops axle. This tractor's definitely going to stay around for a while. I took it for a drive after putting it together, then sharpened the blades and reinstalled the deck, I was surprised at how nice it cut. It's not revving up all the way because of the throttle cable slipping, that should be an easy fix though.

I also found a big mouse next in the engine when I was checking it over in the shop, it was disappointing to see the dealer service guys didn't manage that when they had it. It was easy to find and remove.

I added some pictures of the front axle carnage for fun. THREE breaks! Four pieces! Apparently it wasn't the first time either.
