Ditto what DX3 said. Left side just seems natural to me. My first cub is my 125 which I acquired in 1984. 2yrs ago I picked up a 1641 with the control on the right and every time I drive it I am always reaching for the left to change direction. I guess we are creatures of habit. Sounds like everybody just gets acclimated to their first cub and anything else is a pain to drive.
