The 982 is a no brainer, if it won't handle a 10 Brinly, it ain't much of a Super!!
I pull a 12" Cat 0 with my 882 all the time and a 10" sleeve hitch unit with my 128, no issues.
Which hitch do you have on your 982?

^ this, we need to know your hitch type, since a true Cat 0 3 point won't work w/ a sleeve hitch plow w/out adapters.
