I find that half the time people set their junk mail filters to collect everything except messages from their Aunt Margaret. Ive been in the same boat Roland, usually what I do is switch over to one of my other e-mail accounts like Roadrunner, fire off one from there, and they respond right away....go figure? I say "didn't you get that last e-mail I sent you?" they usually respond..."nope..oh wait a minute..its in my junk mail"...doh.
As far as the scams go...I find the e-mail collectors usually are the ones responding to something your selling...thats when you get an e-mail that says "do you still have this item"....you can tell pretty easily.
Those "too good to be true" ads are another one to be careful of..like the 2009 Kubota 4x4's for $2500...lol..hello!
