Kohler KS540-3011 Backfires through Intake
1. Last used my Cub Cadet (model 13A0A1CS056) riding mower without a problem
2. Parked it for about two weeks
3. Tried to start it, cranks strongly but no start and . . .
4. Backfires explosively through carburetor
5. Check flywheel key - intact and no apparent problem shifting
6. Checked electric solenoid valve at bottom of carburetor - activates w 12V jump
7. Took off valve cover - rockers are operating when engine is rotated
8. Checked spark with tester on plug. Good spark
9. Removed and cleaned carburetor. Reinstalled.
