Mower Deck Leaf Blowout
Mower deck blowout is a problem (to some degree on most bagging systems)
Make sure that your deck is mounted properly (a bit lower 1/4 inch or so on the front than the back of the deck). For leaf pickup, 3 inches (deck height) is too high for limited blowout. 2 inches is max height (IMO). I have been bagging leaves for 30 years and tried it all and yet in some situations, blowout to some degree (humidity of leaves, type of leaves etc) will be there. If you have "NO Blowout" while bagging, then you are bagging a lot of soil. Good luck. Riverrat
