126 restoration and the issues with it.
I want to start by saying I am no mechanic, but I am diving into this project purely for the love of it.
I purchased a "running" 126 for $100. I put gas in it and a new battery and it fired right up. But it doesn't move, if I press the clutch in to a specific point it will move very slowly no matter how much gas I give it. I am working through a clutch rebuild right now( replaced all of the parts of the clutch except the pressure plates, which the ones on the machine are not original, the shaft, and the release lever)
I placed the clutch back in and still have no movement. I am assuming that I have an issue in the transmission at this point and I am not sure what to do. My first guess is the shaft coming out of the case is bad and or the front plate that houses the shaft is wore.
I am open to any suggestions
