if you add "fuel" (starting fluid) and it runs. then its a no brainer, it ain't gettin fuel.
Since you have been shot-gunning parts at it, its a guess as to which fuel system part or parts are causing the problem.
Just remember in todays world, 50% of new parts are defective and made
in other countries, its a fact, like it or not.

I'd start with putting the OEM carb back on and noting the difference if any.
When one messes around with the fuel system its very easy to get the edge of a fuel line nicked off and it plugs a line. or you didn't blow the "new" fuel line out before you installed it, and we know a bug wouldn't dare to crawl inside.
just some things to check.
