K301 Found this in Oil
Hello Everyone I hope you all are doing well.
Yesterday while changing oil in the K301 I found this laying on top the oil drain pan.
I was hoping one of you Kohler gurus would recognize it.
The engine is running fine & I just mowed 5 acres with it after the oil change.
The old oil was 10w30 & it was black, it now has straight Heavy Duty 30 weight in it.
I put my finger in one of the pics to reference the size of what looks like a piece of cast gear tooth.
