I purchased and installed an aftermarket carb. This carb has come pre-set, and the adjustment screws have been plugged. The issue is keeping a constant rpm setting. Idle is fine but half throttle increases to full throttle. I also get occasionally backfire through the carb.

Would you have any suggestion to solve this issue?
