The are many ZT's manufacturers but I'd stay away buying from big box stores even if they carry good brands the little guy sell. The big box tend to sell entry levels homeowner whereas the smaller guys will sell entry levels up to pro level. If you're budget conscious, at least think of a mid level machine. Smaller guys tend to service you better.
Finally... if it ain't diesel, get one with Kawasaki motor. I think the BS and Kohler today are junk compared to the Kawasaki, but that's me! My Dad has a Bad Boy.... and Im impressed.
