Well, I plan to buy one of the Briggs 23 HP conversion kits for my Wheel Horse 416H. The Onan is fine, but the Onan is a cold-hearted engine and a PIA to start in the winter, and simple things like the muffler are no longer available new for the said Onan engine.
I have seen a few of SEW's engine repowers in other machines like a JD 318/420 and an IH Cub 782, and the owners seem happy with the conversion kits. It has sold me on them. I could get a Honda repower here, but I'd have to get some PTO work done on the Wheel Horse PTO to use the kit from here:

I am having my local former Cub dealer rebuild my M18. In my 1541, not so much as a rebuild there, just replacing all the engine Gaskets.
