OK, here goes the DEAD HORSE again. Just a quick unpaid testimonial for AMSOIL. They currently have 100 percent synthetic 5w-30 tractor hydraulic/transmission fluid for $11.39/quart preferred customer price. Now for the testimonial. In the mid 90s I purchased a Cub cadet 109 from a dealer that had taken it in on trade. Did a test drive/mow and all seemed good. Took it home and it would not pull itself up a slight incline. Tore it apart and found the pistons in both the pump and motor to be sticking due to overheating and varnishing of the oil. Soaked everything in carb cleaner for about a week and put everything back together with all new seals. That was 30 years ago and that little tractor still has the same oil in it with less than a quart of oil added to it over the entire 30 years. Yes it gets used to the tune of around 180 hrs per year mowing and blowing snow in northern Minnesota with a CCC 341 blower. Always kept inside in an unheated garage and never fails to start on its own unless temps fall below -20 outdoor temp. With the friction modifiers and seal conditioners AMSOIL puts in their oil I have no leaks after in excess of 5000 hrs. AMSOIL is TOO EXPENSIVE !
 I think not !!!
