Damper cylinder
The left control lever went erratic on my Ultima ZTX5 while mowing last weekend. I was able to see that the lower eye of the damper cylinder was physically broken.
Has anyone replaced one of these? It's not clear what the best path is to access the part for replacement. Maybe removing the (60" Fab) deck would provide access from underneath, but would require a second person to insert the top fastener from above. If not that, then maybe the gas tank has to be removed to gain access from rear? Does the whole lever assembly come out somehow? Any tips would be appreciated.
