I have to second Sergeant's comment about the cost of used machinery in Europe but particularly in Ireland. Spending the equivalent of $5000 would buy you a very tired machine with a whole new set of issues. There is a massive export market of machinery to Africa in the EU at the moment which has hoovered up all of the decent used equipment leaving machines you don't want to touch, or very expensive almost new machines.

Those shipping costs from the States are too much for my pocket so I'm going to try to fabricate my own hitch (without PTO which I agree with another comment, I'll probably rarely use given it's so hard to find the implements here). Others appear to have done it successfully so it's worth a try.

I'm assuming no hitch plans, drawings or measurements exist for fabrication purposes? (I suppose if they do they have been created for commercial purposes). If anyone is aware of a set of plans for sale, I'd be open to paying.
