I purchased a International Cadet 268 snow blower about 2 1/2 years ago. It was on FB for $150.00 running. I did not need to bring home another cub product and did not ask the wife for permission. While at work the price dropped to $100.00 so I took my lunch drove over, had him start it then loaded it in the back of my pickup. So I thought I would get it ready for winter use, nope haven't started it in 2 1/2 years. I wish I would have for the storm but nope. So my question is I have the manual and service manual, however I was wondering what should I do before or in addition to the basic service, oil change? what brand? what viscosity ? synthetic ? Should I add something to the fuel ? I do not have a garage to work in only the great outdoors. Any pointers would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you in advance.
