MTD/Stanley is the Parent of Cub Cadet and Craftsman

The only differences besides paint color are the front axle and steering arms on the Craftsman, so you have a tight 6-inch turning radius, and the Craftsman has a Kawasaki and not a Kohler engine.

The XT2 GX54 D has the same gas tank setup, i.e., no strap to hold the tank. The tank neck and fuel hold the tank in place.
