I know this is an older thread but wondering if you were ever able to convert yours over to a key start? If so did you use a factory cub ignition? Mine just went out and fires up no issues being “hotwired” and a toggle would be easy nbut would prefer if I could just use a Cub keyed ignition instead. Seen a few people ask this question but no real answers. Thanks!
