I honestly think the first cub cadet that you have shown with the blue stripe is the model we had and it was a hydrostatic drive.
I do remember not having to manually shift it to change speeds.
I do remember the newer low boy my father replaced it with was a 3 speed with a three point hitch and the four cylinder water cooled engine and diamond tread tires.

I see, I just assumed this was a tractor you just bought and you wanted to know more about it. It sounds like it was a 105 (10hp) or a 125 (12hp) that you had. Here is a picture of my 125…
