bought the qa42 online manual, still not sure about lift
one of the members said that my lift on my 147 was not stock/orginal. i have the service, parts, and qa42 manuals. seems like i have all of the nessary items. i have the lift rod and the bracket that attaches to the electric lift. my manuals confirmed that the lift is NOT an original setup. is it possible that when the prevous owner changed the lift assembly that the original dimesions were lost and that is why i cannot get the lift arm to work.i guess what im trying to say is that since he changed something, did that change the location of the bracket that the rod is supposed to go through. if thats true, i probably need to make a new rod? im discovering that the prevous owner made all kinds of unique changes to this tractor. it doesnt help me one bit. there is a pic in another thread that i posted of the lift assembly
