It seems that several threads here discuss rattle can yellow paint. One of them, which I can't find now, had several people suggesting Rustoleum Farm Implement Yellow. Today I was in a Lowes and saw Krylon Farm Implement Yellow and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be much more yellow and less orange than what is on my cubs now.
Later I did some looking online. I now see that Rustoleum makes 3 different Farm Implement yellows. The 3 flavors are JD, Cat, and Transport. Transport looks the closest to CC original and has been recommended by others here. JD looks like what I bought today and is far off.
Edit: make that 4 versions, there is also New Holland yellow.
Some guys recommend Marigold yellow from Rustolium. That also looks close, as does some of their safety yellow. Their 15 minute quick dry professional safety yellow is further off than the Krylon was. Golden Sunset is just a little on the other side of the spectrum compared to what is currently on my cubs, but pretty close. It's just slightly more orange but that may be due to my original paint fading.
Below on the left is a part painted with the Krylon and on the right is Golden Sunset. I'm not endorsing this, just showing it for what it is. I'll keep my eyes open for some marigold or transport yellow. The tractor in the background below is a 100. Both pictures have the same rear end of the same 100 behind the color samples. It seems that the camera does a little automatic color correction to average out the balance. The two background colors should be the same
