Major blizzard here. Have a drift taller than the blower. So, went out to fire up old trusty 1450 to blow it. Didn't get to the choke in time, so it died. No big deal, right? Nothing would turn over. Not even a click and the lights wouldn't work.

No problem. Just ground issue. So I fixed that, and now I only get a click. ARRGHHH. When I actually am in a really important need it won't fire!

So, to get by, I grabbed my jumper box and with the key in one hand, I grounded the jumper to the shoot lever, and used the positive to turn the starter over. It ran and I got the job done.

So tonight, new (from the parts tractor) solonoid is being installed.

Sometimes I question why I fight old tractors all the time. Fix one thing another breaks!!!! Eventually it will be new.
