Those have a Briggs Vangaurd and I think I would rather have a Kohler engine but, I don't know much about the Briggs. I will say that a lot of people don't like the cyclops tractors because of the wiring problems and paint issues but they are the most comfortable tractors made. I have a 1541 with a high vacuum deck and it cuts better than any other deck I have. The plastic hood and sides are also another problem. Thats my
