Ok new to the forum and not sure if this is even in the right category but here is my problem. Tractor was purchased from a dealer with 458 hrs and ran great and was later adapted to pull an eighties model trac vac the kind with a trailor. This worked great for a while until about 500 hrs then the hydrostatic started to be weak going forward but reverse works great. It gradually got slower and slower, as a hydrostatic novice where should I start a new filter and fresh hytran? Is this a simple fix? The dealership in town would not sell me a repair manual for this and the library only had manuals for the nice indestructable older units like the Cub Cadet 100 I replaced this one with. Its not that I am too cheap to take it to the professionals it is just that these kinds of projects in my spare time keep me out of trouble
). So any suggestions and/or links to someone willing to sell me a repair manual for this tractor would be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance.
