checked the ohms from the vr to battery -.checked out great 0 omhs.started the engine.volt meter showed no charge engine was surging like it was trying to shut off and start back up.started chasing wires got to the back of the key switch gave a little wiggle and low and behold the volt guage showed a charge.removed the switch cleaned up all the wires and the blades on the switch and everything is working great.thank you one and all for all the help and advice all is right with the world let the beer flow.
