Default Cub Cadet QA36 How to make it throw further

In the last snowstorm we had I needed to make my QA36 throw snow higher (and further) to get snow over our existing high snow piles in CT. I think there was an older thread on this and some people were asking about how it worked. All I can say is the reduced diameter pulley (3.55 inch) threw snow further, higher, with faster forward speed. I have it on a cub 149. The snow was about 16 inches deep and I never had to get off to clear the shute. With the stock pulley I had problems bogging in the deep snow and the shute getting clogged. If I rated the snow on a scale of light powder, medium, or wet and heavy I would say it was medium. It was not powder and not heavy wet; it was right in the middle. If anyone wants the part number I can look it up. I got that and the belt from Mcmaster. I thought spinning the auger faster would bog the engine more but that was really not the case.
