Wasn't feeling too well this morning so I called in sick but made a miraculous recovery

Thank you. Drove up to the Cub Cadet dealer and went thru the new owner checklist for the 2072 I picked up last week. The young man working the counter is a Cub fanatic and knows his stuff. Got a new oil filter, new trans filter, new plugs, oil and Hytran. Came home and pulled the old rear cover off and it was pretty nasty but it cleaned up well. The trans filter was a bear to get off; there wasn't much left of it by the time it started to budge. I had let the oil drain while I ran up to the dealer and on return I swished a little Sea Foam down the oil fill to flush out any other nasty crud.
It runs right spiffy, no more whining hydro pump and she starts with a bump of the key. Also bought a new seat since the old one had a little tear but did not get it on since I had to come in and put dinner in the oven. I might just powerwash that Haban that came with it instead of sandblast, it looks more dirty than rusty. Can't wait for daylight savings time so I have some light after work. Lots more to do.
