Don't sandblast fiberglass parts, the sandblaster in a matter of seconds can bore a hole clear through you dash part, cause the fibergalss fibers to protrude from it (looking kind of furry). Just prep with sandpaper, if it is in good shape you could just use a scotch bright pad to give the paint a tooth to bite to.
