I have been wanting to make some foot pads from diamond plate. I was at a local mom and pop hardware store the other day and found a half sheet of 1/4" aluminum diamond sitting on the floor kinda in the corner. Looked at the price and it said $29.98, I grabbed it and headed to the counter and asked the owner if the price was correct. She said yep it's been back there for a very long time so that's the price. I bought it. Here's the first one, still have to clean up the edges a bit but looks pretty good so far. What do you think Duke? I'm going to make enough for all my 82 series tractors.
