One question though...does the electric lift cylinder on the disk allow you to raise the rear gang off the ground while the front gang remains engaged? I was going to add to DX3's comment about the disk not having the pivot point....was thinking my granddad had a disk for his farm tractor that did not pivot and worked fine, however it was a pull type that raised and lowered on wheels and the pivot point was the hitch...I think his question is a good one, since your disk is basically like a larger tractors 3 pt mount disk....if left in the ground (engaged) when turning, would it not put a lot of side load on the brinly hitch adapter? I guess it is not a big deal if you lift it to turn around. Sorry, I start typing before I complete the thought process...typing (thinking) aloud again...LOL.
What I do is remove the bolts that allow side pivot on the sleeve hitch .This allows it to turn until the tire hits the disk. That is why I added those small pieces of tube stock to act as stopers. originally I didn't have the wheels on and I just used the sleeve hitch to pick it up. my 149 had all it could do to lift this, So I knew it would need wheels to help carry the weight so that the sleeve hitch wouldn't break under the load. A better idea would have been to extend the hitch to allow more pivot room when turning ,but it works. It really doesn't see much field time just a little play time ,mostly for show
