I changed the filter when I got it, which was last September. It was damaged from being moved with a fork lift. I saved it from certain death at the scrap yard. Picked it up for $125 I'll admit that I put regular hydro fluid in it first before I new better. I drained it and replaced the filter soon after putting it in. Worked fine after that until now.
