(continued from page 2)............I think the big picture to this problem is that CC has cross referenced the part #'s and it is a lot of work for the dealer to look up the older IH cub part #'s, or maybe not a lot of work but requires some knowledge & savvy that your local dealer might not have. Also, you aren't a "big ticket item" buyer from them and they probably don't value "every customer" like they should. If you went in there and ordered a new $8000 mower or something like that, then I'm sure they would roll out the red carpet for you!!!! So, if you aren't a big ticket customer, then it sounds like they are trying to make you into one through their own price inflation. I know that it probably leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but I hope that it doesn't ruin you for other local merchants who rely on the support of the community to stay in business. Well.....that's my take on it. Thank goodness the whole world doesn't operate that way!! Lots of Luck!!
