If I am lucky, may have some action shots by this fall. I have been slowly acquiring attachments (so far I have a brinly 12" plow, single gang disk, cultivator, an IH front snow blade, and this unknown make rear blade) and parts the tractor needs. In the next month or so, I plan to disassemble the tractor (149) and begin the process of a full restore. I have been hitting up the site sponsors, local sources, and evil bay for parts I know that are needed. I just about have everything need on hand or being shipped to me, I still need to order some steering tie rod ends, new tires, the easy steering up grade, and an over haul kit for the motor. The motor as is runs pretty good, but uses oil and has quite a lot of blow by. It also needs a new key way cut in the pto shaft (the old key slot is wallowed out pretty badly, but shaft is still good and I think the best cure is to cut a new one 180* from the old one), I will disassemble the motor and get it to the machine shop prior to ordering the kit to make sure I get what I need. I plan to start a thread on the rebuild of the tractor when I start on it, from disassembly to completion. I am still up in air over paint, was planning on going with oem paint scheme, but saw a thread where someone changed there 149 to red like the 82 series tractors came in, it looks really sharp that way and I am changing the front wheels to the narrow wheels to run a set of tri ribs, and loaded ags on
the rear. Hope to get started next month or maybe will have to wait until May, got to get caught up on my honey do's to keep the wifey happy!
