I can't find a diagram for the 582s to see what the set up looks like,but is it possible that it is the throw out bearing rattling and stops when pressure is applied. If so try backing the clutch off a little bit so it doesn't touch.
Edit: I found a pic of a 482 clutch setup . It's not how i thought it was so what I said doesn't really apply .Sorry. Is it possibly a bearing starting to go out in one of the pulleys.
