Gas tank rust, CLR
I read the thread about the different methods for rust removal. My tank is functioning, but has some surface rust, mostly in the upper half where it has sat partially filled.
I'm just wondering how many folks have used the CLR method, with some screws, and if it does a nice job. I don't really want to deal with the acid at this point if I dont have to, since my tank is not that bad. I've used the CLR on hard water stains and it does well, and is readily available.
Any info appreciated.
