Default Clutch Disassembly/Assembly Tool

Hello everyone! Looking to make a gear drive main clutch disassembly/assembly tool so I can do just that... take apart my main drive clutch on the 100. How much travel or movement does the tool need in order to work properly & allow the springs to fully relax? Looking to make the tool work on all gear drive Cubs, so whatever is the largest amount of travel I need is the dimension I'm looking for. Thanks fellas.
