I went through all the wiring and did not find anything wrong. I did all the tests that you all suggested and didn't find anything. I then changed the S/G with a used one I had and that solved the problem. I don't know what happened to it because it was working when I took the tractor apart. Anyway, it is fixed and I wanted to say thanks for all your suggestions and advice.
