Thanks DX, I looked again and the 44C has the spindles, washers, nuts, just missing blades. It looks pretty good, needs some paint but no holes and blade deflectors are in good shape. The deck on the 109 has no tag, thought it was a 38 but looks like a 42 with the tape blade to blade. The blades are a little rough but are sharp now, will they work on the 44C deck? I looked at the bearing on one of the 44C spindles and I see now how they go together. Can I use the center pulley off the A deck? I say A cause I think that is what it is. The square edge type that looks very flying wing ish. No guide wheels, wooden front roller, but the guide wheels could very well be gone, the guide loops on the end have been welded up so who knows. If these parts will change, blades and pulley, tomorrow will see a 44 C hanging under the 109. Will it do a better job at not leaving a trail of clippings from the left blade? At least it has the baffles so that can't hurt.
