The problem is the number of letters or numbers being searched, I've found that typically 4 to 5 letter words or number sequences are the minimum on most forums, and numbers are particularly hard for some reason. As an example If I go to any one of my gun forums and type in .308 I get the same answer on all of them...no results, but if I type in Ruger, or Winchester...whammo...tons of results. Make sense...I'm no expert, but I think its just the way the software is designed

I think this is correct.
I use Google for searches every day in my business. Google is good at providing 50,000 hits in .3 seconds.....BUT....I have to wade through tons of useless information until I can find what I really want. They throw too wide of a net.
