The guy who now owns it said it's always been in his family. His grandfather bought it new. As far as I knows he's done some repainting on it and the ISO mounts are still in good shape. Keeping my fingers crossed it works out. I found one in Nebraska that looked promising but I couldn't get good pics/videos out from the fella who was selling it so I had to pass on it. But from what it seemed that it was in better shape than this one is. Oh well!

I tried to get my grandfathers old 1450 but I was told that it was carted off to the junk yard years ago - something about the motor mounts being shot (which sounds likely) or the bolts being completely stripped out of the block. Either way I'm sure that tractor was in rough shape. I recall at one point the tranny had to be rebuilt because my uncles beat the tractor so badly. Not surprising considering the way it was used. It had a hard life and lasted a long time - namely the reason I want one.
