Here is a post someone wrote on another forum, I think this guy covered almost everything he is talking about a 16 hp motor instead of a 14 but the changes are all about the same.
"Yes and No, it's not a clean bolt in, there are several changes that need to be made. The motor will need to be bolted in directly to the frame instead of using the QL cradle, the drive shaft hook up will have to be modified (depends on if you want to use the QL style hook up or the narrow frame style hook up, keep in mind that the 16 hp is in a Hydro tractor and it sounds like you are wanting to put this motor in front of a manual transaxle) I think you can use either, depending on what parts you have to work with, also depends on which type of pto and starter system you want to use (if you want to use the electric pto you have to use the QL starter, if you want to use the manual pto you can use either starter but you need the Wide Frame starter pulley and basket). Then the wiring will need to be changed depending on what starter system you use. There will also be issues with the exhaust (I would really hate to see someone cut a hole in a Wide Frame grill to run the exhaust out through only to have the grill melt around the muffler.
I'm sure there are other things that I have overlooked these are just the things that come to mind.
Yes it can be done, but it needs to be planned out in advance, because often times one thing directly affects another."
