Wayne, go back up the page a few posts and re-read what Ol'George wrote. You drained the gas out of your float (or should I call it a sink right now?), but you didn't fix where the gas was leaking into it. You need to figure that out and repair it or it will just keep sinking. If it were me, I'd just buy a new float and be done with it.
