I joined the forum not only because I love old tractors, but I was looking for some more info on old Cub Cadets. I recently picked up this 102. I didn't have to give a ton for it, and its complete minus the motor. The owner has had it for a long time and repowered it sometime ago. A little while ago, he pulled the motor out and put it in something else. I happened to buy a PTO for my JD from him and asked him what he wanted for it, and so its the new project. I'd love to put an original motor in it, but Im not sure if I'll be able to source a complete engine or not.
