Hello all,

I'm a new member to this site and must admit it's one of the best I've come accross for IH Cub owners.

That said, my 1450 is in need of some maintenance. I'd like to check the condition of the points but the dust cover is almost up next to the frame and I can't get to the lower screw. Even if I were to get the lower screw out it looks like the cover will hit the frame, preventing removal. Are there any tricks to getting the cover off or am I totally missing something?
I've read that some people drill holes through the frame but I've been unable to find any detailed info on this.
