Bendix gear rotates freely to both CW and CCW directions. Bendix is a two part unit (inner part with threads that slide on starter shaft and outer part with gear) If I lock inner part with threads and rotate gear with hand it rotates in both directions(when bendix is off from starter) Is this how it should work? OR should there be a one-way clutch inside bendix gear?
