I don't think you have much to worry with, I think mine is due more to age and maybe some sun issues even tho it had very little use. It is pulling loose right in the center of the lower section. I assume from the weight of the grass when I lift it to dump it. I do tend to let it fill up pretty full. I probably shouldn't do that. LOL
