Darrell as it stands right now it looks to be a straight shot on the drive shaft. I just went out and looked at my cyclops 1641 and that has like 1 1/4" spacers under the motor. I know it's a briggs motor but I am thinking the center line on the crank has to be different. I just have the motor in the 682 sitting on the motor mount plate right now. Don't know if the frames are the same between the 682 and the cyclops either. These 82 series are all new to me this year. I will for sure keep you posted on the conversion.
