I've had a 147 for about 22 years, and, knock on wood, haven't had to do much of anything to it since. The only thing major was the electric lift mechanism breaking, and not being able to use it for much more than pulling things around the yard. I have a model 1 rototiller that was on the 147 that I put on a 149 that I just bought along with a lift on the back from another 149. After getting everything bolted and pinned in place I found the pto belt and found out it was about an inch too short. I'm guessing that the 149 is alittle longer than the 147 so I will need a different belt. I'll go to the auto parts store tomorrow and see if I can get one.
