My Dad owns both :
Both mowers run off tiller drive. The Haban mower would work on a PTO equip Cub.

The transmissions were the same. The Cub Cadet has a rear reduction box in front of the trans and the Cub doesn't. The gear reduction changes the direction the imput shaft rotates.
